Associate Staff

We are very proud of the following staff members who gained valuable experience working at Randolph Animal Hospital, and are presently attending Veterinary School:


Carissa Dominguez, Randolph Animal Hospital in Randolph, Braintree, Stoughton areaCarissa Dominguez

Veterinary nurse, Carissa has been working in the animal field since 1998. Prior to joining the team at Randolph Animal Hospital in 2002, she worked as a kennel assistant. A Massachusetts native, Carissa attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where she received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degrees in Animal Science.

Carissa is currently a veterinary medical student at Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine, located in Tuskegee, Alabama. Carissa continues to work periodically at Randolph Animal Hospital.

A member of Greyhound Friends, Carissa has two cats named Princess and Eliza. In her free time she enjoys writing and swimming.

Ruth A. Van Hatten - Randolph Animal Hospital in Randolph, Braintree, Stoughton areaRuth A. Van Hatten

Since 2003, Ruth has been a veterinary nurse at Randolph Animal Hospital. Originally from Utica NY, she moved to Massachusetts in 1997 to attend Boston University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology.

A veterinary medical student at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, Ruth continues to work periodically at Randolph Animal Hospital.

During her leisure time, Ruth enjoys camping and traveling. At home, she enjoys working on puzzles while she's kept company by her cat, Piper and her fish, an African cichlid named Jack.

Emily Morrison, Randolph Animal Hospital in Randolph, Braintree, Stoughton areaEmily Morrison

A New Jersey native, Emily has been working in the animal care field since 2003. She has been a Veterinary technician working at Randolph Animal Hospital since May 2006. Emily attended Tufts University and received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology in 2006. She is now continuing her veterinary education at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine.

Emily is an avid equestrian and has been riding horses since the age of seven. She has taught at horse-riding camps and also works as a volunteer with the MSPCA. She also recently joined the ASPCA.

When she's not working with animals or riding horses, Emily can be found on the dancefloor or outside skiing and hiking.
